Julia Jackson, Bookkeeper

Julia is a 10-year resident of Columbia, MO, originally from Hermann, MO where she grew up on her family’s farm. From an early age, her family taught her the importance of keeping good financial practices. Julia studied Agribusiness Management, focusing on accounting and financial analysis classes. After graduation, Julia worked as Financial Analyst for MFA Incorporated, an agricultural cooperative. She then moved to a role as a Senior Credit Analyst for Central Bank, underwriting commercial loans.

Julia believes that good bookkeeping practices are critical for good business management. Keeping clean and organized records allows business owners to identify the strengths and weaknesses of their operations. This enables them to make the decisions based on good information that allows their business to grow and thrive.

In her free time, Julia enjoys gardening, baking, sewing and caring for her flock of chickens. She and her family enjoy exploring Missouri’s natural areas, fishing, hiking and hunting.
